PYE Pruf Seal 50

PYE Pruf Seal 50 is a two-component flexible cementitious waterproofing system with an elongation break at 50%. It is applied as a slurry and dries to form a membrane that is permeable to vapor but a barrier to water and moisture. It has an excellent adhesion to concrete and other cementitious-based surfaces.

Surface Preparation:

Substrate must be clean, free of dust, oil paint, grease, or any loose materials. A high-pressure air or water jet is recommended for this process. The substrate must be pre-wetted, but over-wetting, resulting in the accumulation of water on the surface, should be avoided.  

Application:

PYE Pruf Seal 50 is to be applied in two coats with a minimum thickness of 1mm for each coat. Apply using a trowel or a stiff brush. The first coat must be at least semi-cured (touch dry) before the application of the second coat.

Mixing:

Add the entire 20kg bag of Part A to 10 liters of Part B. Use a powder drill to mix thoroughly until a slurry consistency is achieved. Avoid high speed or excessive mixing to avoid entrapped air in the mix.

Storing:

PYE Pruf Seal 50 has a shelf life of 6 Months if kept in a dry and cool condition.

1. Part A - 4kg, Part B - 2L
2. Part A - 20Kg, Part B - 10L

Coverage:

• Single coat -  8-10 sqm / 4kg | 40-50 sqm / 20kg
• Double Coat  - 4-5 sqm/4kg | 20-25 sqm / 20kg 

Using a brush, roller, or low-pressure air spray. Apply evenly on all dry dust-free surfaces. For normal application, 2 coats are sufficient. However, 3 coats may be required for a heavy-duty runway.
