PYE Tile Adhesive

PYE Tile Adhesive is a ready-mixed, off-white paste adhesive designed for easy and reliable installation of ceramic tiles on interior surfaces such as wood, plasterboard, and cement.

Ideal For:

Directions for Use:

1. Prepare the surface

   • Make sure the wall or floor is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or loose particles.

   • Surface should be smooth and level.

2. Apply the adhesive

   • Use a notched trowel to spread the adhesive evenly onto the surface.

   • Keep the adhesive layer thin (about 3 mm or less).

3. Set the tiles

   • Press each tile firmly into place with a slight twisting motion to ensure full contact.

   • Maintain around 2 mm spacing between tiles for grouting.

4. Working time

   • Fix tiles within 20 minutes after applying the adhesive to avoid skinning.

5. Adjustments

   • You can still adjust or align tiles shortly after placing them.

6. Drying

   • Allow the adhesive to dry before grouting (usually a few hours depending on thickness and conditions).

7. Clean-up

   • Wipe off excess adhesive immediately with a damp cloth.

   • Clean tools with water before the adhesive sets.
