PYE Tile Grout

PYE Tile Grout is a ready-mixed, quick-drying compound designed for grouting and sealing ceramic and mosaic wall/floor tiles.

• Can be tinted with latex-based or universal colorants to match tile colors. 
• Highly resistant to shrinkage and cracking.

Performance / Technical Info:

• Colours Available: White and Grey. 
• Adhesion: Excellent adhesion to concrete, masonry, and asbestos cement. 
• Drying Time: About 1–2 hours under normal conditions.
• Coverage: Approximately 2 m² per kg.

Application / Use:

• Ideal for grouting in tiled areas such as kitchens, shower recesses, toilet walls, and floors. 
• For new grout work: clean and dampen the tile joints, then apply the grout using a sponge, float, or finger. 
• After about 10 minutes (once the grout starts to set), gently wipe off excess by wiping diagonally with a damp sponge or cloth. 
• When the grout has firmed (about 1 hour), polish with a clean, dry cloth, then let it dry for 16–24 hours before exposing it to water. 
• Clean tools and hands with water before grout dries. 

Durability & Protection:

• Once set, the grout forms a smooth, non-shrinking, hard joint. 
• It helps prevent water infiltration behind tiles. 
• Resistant to fungus and mold growth. 

Storage:

• Store in a dry place, in its original, sealed container.
